Wireless timekeeper for firefighting sport
Šlechta, Adam ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of timekeepers designed for firefighting sport. It presents the possibilities of solutions for these timekeepers and describes their problems. The thesis includes a review and evaluation of commercially available timekeepers. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the possibilities of solutions for wireless communication and remote time synchronization. The thesis describes the design and manufacture of a prototype timekeeper. The thesis also briefly defines the history and individual disciplines of firefighting.
Design of sport fire hose
Výlet, David ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor thesis is the design of sports fire hose. It is used in fire sport, specifically in the discipline called fire attack. The aim of the work is to make a design of a sports fire hose which will respect the functional requirements and will have innovative features. A strong emphasis is laid on ergonomic and aesthetic value.
Optimization of nozzles for firefighter sport
Páral, Filip ; Klas, Roman (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
This thesis deals with flow inside of the firesport nozzles. Those are used for a fire attack, one of the firesport disciplines. The research part of this thesis introduces a fire attack, commonly used equipment and hydraulic losses that occur during the flow. This part also consists of an overview of current firefighting and firesport nozzles. It includes requirements for nozzles that are used in the fire attack discipline. Second part of the thesis presents the flow analysis inside firesport nozzles using commercial software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD), ANSYS Fluent. Several nozzle designs are proposed at the end of this thesis, based on conclusions from previous part. These designs satisfy firesport nozzle requirements, previously stated in this thesis.
Time Measurement System for Firesport Competitions
Pelka, Tomáš ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the design of universal wireless timer for fire sport disciplines. Fire sport is a group of more than 15 disciplines. There are different ways of time measurement for each discipline. Important part of this work is detailed research of individual disciplines and their requirements at time measurement system and it's accessories. Another part of this work deals with the specification of wireless timekeeping system, which involves suitable partitioning of time measurement system into wirelessly communication modules. The interface for connecting sensors and accessories is also specified. Designed system is suitable for racing and training purposes, it has short installation time. This work also deals with the design of electronics (power and digital circuits) for each module and also with building of prototype, which is tested using prepared scenarios. New findings are evaluated and lead to design of next generation of time measurement system.

Level of the selected sports movement capabilities ofsports firefighters
Krumlová, Natálie ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Hájková, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with the examination of the levels of selected sports movement capabilities of sports firefighters who run the campetition for The Hořina Cup in the West Bohemian Region. The aim of this work is to compare the results of sports movement capabilities of sports firefighters using selected sports movement tests. Further verify that teams with better sports movement capabilities have better fire attack results. An important part of the thesis is theoretical knowledge in the field of fire sports, sports movement capabilities and sports movement tests. KEYWORDS fire sport, fire attack, sports movement capabilities, sports movement tests, competition "The Hořina Cup"

The history and the present fire sport of professional firefighters in the South Bohemian Region
SEVERA, Marek
Fire sport is an integral part of the physical training of the members of regional fire brigade units. The aim of the work is to assess and evaluate the demands on athletes dealing with the fire-fighting sport in its beginnings and now in the South Bohemian region. The mapping of the beginnings of fire fighting sport in the Czechchoslovak Socialist Republic Czechoslovakia, Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Czech Republic and abroad is a necessary part of understanding the problem. The benefit of meeting important fire-fighting professionals in the South Bohemian Region is not only gaining valuable knowledge and experience, but above all a distinctive revival of memories and never-recorded facts. In order to find information about fire sport, qualitative research methods were used, namely analysis of available materials and resources, interviews and questionnaire survey between the former and current competitors of fire fighting in the South Bohemian Region. The results of the analysis of available materials and resources, as well as the questionnaire survey, showed a model presenting different results between competitors from earlier and from the present. The conclusions provided the answer to the research question, "What were the requirements on athletes of firefighting sport at its beginnings and what are they now? Requirements such as the time and physical demands of training, the quality of equipment and tools, used to be stricter in the past, the conditions for running a firefighting sport without available information and experience were more difficult than those currently required. The assessment of the development of fire sport since its beginnings in the 1970s to the present day in the South Bohemian region shows that there is a significant fall in the results of of the South Bohemian region's teams in national competitions. The proposal to improve performance in fire sport is to identify weaknesses and focus on their enhancement.
